What Oma Tienoo draws of the forest
The map always has one base map, and over it as many layers as you want. The layers answer different questions, and each has its own page saying where the data comes from and what it does not promise.
Mushroom maps
Six species, six kinds of forest. A layer colours the forest stands where a species does well, and the overview page explains how the prediction is calculated. Season weighting is its other half: it says when, not only where.
Forest data
Upcoming fellings draws the valid forest use declarations, meaning the stands where a felling has been declared. A declaration is not a felling, and the page explains what it is.
Base maps
Six base maps and what each is good for: the pale background map under the species layers, the topographic map for navigating, three aerials for looking at what is growing. Worth choosing before you download an area for offline use.
